Disclosure Statement & Co-operative Rules

The Disclosure Statement details the offer to invest to potential members and relevant terms and conditions. The Co-operative Rules set out the requirements that each member must satisfy to become an active member. The Disclosure Statement for the Energy Democracy Central West NSW Co-operative as a distributing Co-operative has been registered with Fair Trading NSW.

Both documents need to be thoroughly read and understood before you apply to become a member.

Application fee

There is an entry fee payable for membership in the Co-operative. This fee (inclusive of GST) is proportionate to the number of parcels purchased, at A$55 per 1,000 shares, up to A$275 for members purchasing 5,000 shares or more.

You will be directed to our secure payment provider, Stripe, to complete payment of this. Credit and debit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, and UnionPay are accepted.

  • I will maintain my Active Membership status as defined in the Rules of the Co-operative.
  • I acknowledge that lodging this application form constitutes an application to subscribe for Shares in Energy Democracy Central West New South Wales Co-operative.
  • If my membership application is accepted and my Share Offer is subscribed, I will make payment for the issue price of the Shares via an electronic funds transfer to the trust account of Energy Democracy Central West New South Wales Co-operative.
